2013: LITTLE MAY

You can often tell real artists, not on how loud they are in communicating their message to an audience, but sometimes more on the ability to stand, or sit quietly and still be compelling enough to hold your attention. Little May, shown here at the Church Bar NSW performing their song Take Me Down to the River, are an Indie/folk band from Sydney, driven by haunting vocal harmonies and simple acoustic guitar playing. Hannah Field, Liz Drummond and Annie Hamilton are all self-taught musicians and have been writing beautiful music together since leaving school. In August they will be releasing their debut EP and they have just finished filming their first video clip for single Boardwalks. At time of posting this it was not yet available, but as soon as it is, I will replace below video with the update. P.s. I know it’s a girl thing to notice how people are dressed, but I so looove the crocheted skirt!!
